Conflict

Last week we took a field trip to the separation wall between Israel and Palestine.

It's crazy living here in this land of "peace" and realizing how stricken it is with conflict.  This man taught us a lot about the modern situation, and it was a very interesting afternoon.

It was nice to be able to finish off the evening with some of my favorite people in the world with one of my favorite views in the world.

I feel so blessed to be here, and I'll be a wreck when the day comes that I can't look out my window and see this anymore.  I'm grateful that I can feel peace in this land.  I wish everyone else could too.
