Update

I often get on here to write a post, and then I think everything I have to say is useless.  Also it's like a public journal that is just absolutely belittling to come back to.  It seems like a good idea until I come back and read it a month later...  Oh well, here are some pictures from my past few months:

I had the sheer privelege of playing on an intramural soccer team with my brother this Spring.  Because he and his friends are rock stars, we took home the coveted intramural championship tees. I played no role in the winning portion of the team.  Although I must say this years shirts were the best I've seen...
Allison and I drove down to St. George one fine evening to hang out with some of my High School friends.  This bottom series of pictures explains quite fervently how the weekend went down.  And I loved these matching Grannies at church.  Had to take a Sacrament shot... shame.
I volunteered at new student orientation for the incoming summer students and fell out of my chair when my brother and his friends were in our pamphlet...
Not the happiest day of my life when Reid went home for the summer, leaving me to rot here in Provo ( just kidding).  Fun times on Gare Bear's birthday, and eating my first gross meal at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Don't ever need to go back to that joint.
It's been most excellent to have Miss Kortni Jeane in town for the past few weeks. We hit up Strawberry Days and were thuroughly disappointed in their highly anticipated Strawberries and Cream.  K maybe I'm just speaking for myself, but woof.
Love my Kami Kami
The aftermath included Country Dancin with DJ Easy Rock down on the dirt like real Rodeo Queens to be.  I was delighted at one point when one of the drunk hicks yelled at me to "Not step on her..." Yeah cause I was about to.  Then a relaxing star gaze on the tramp.  Only not really, because all of Utah is on fire right now and the smoke is ruining our lives and eating all our steak.  Praying for "moisture."
There are few things in this world I love more than playing with my babies.  Morning Cartoons.  Phinneas and Ferb is dumb.
We went on a ward camp out a few weekends ago and it was crazy fun.  Shortly after we took this picture over the river, the ranger came by and gave us a piece of her mind - round two.  We got a visit from the cops three times in just one short night.  Also, my roommate Danielle got married this weekend! So happy for her and Reed! Yes, her husband's name is Reed.  You can imagine how confused we were for several months with 3 Reids in the house...
I woke up at the grand hour of 5:30am on the 4th of July feeling way too ambitious.  I registered for, and ran the Freedom Run.  As you can see in the top right, I was the most beautiful runner in the race.  I also got first place.
(I stole these pictures from Zazoosh somethin or other without ordering them. Sue me.)
Great time swimming and eating hot dogs with family.  After all, the fourth always makes me want a hot dog real bad - movie?
Love my baby Drew-bee

We went to Stadium of Fire and watched the Beach Boys.  Good times to be had by all, as always.  Died laughing about how nobody can keep their eyes open with my strobe light of a flash.  Also loved Bryan singing HELP me Rhonda like a Rook.

Loved getting out on the Lake for the first time this summer.  (Second actually, the first time was when I was babying it in the front with my stitches...)
Tawni and I have been booking bands every Saturday at the Water Park in Provo.  It's been pretty fun.  This guy here was the biggest crack up on earth.  I was literally belly laughing while he rapped Magic by B.O.B.  Really loved it.
So happy to have Scott and Kim back in town with their babies.  These two hoodlums are always up to no good.   Drew MIGHT be more psyched for Noah to be back than I am...

SO happy this fat little piglet is back!!!!!!!!!  The fireworks made her go berserk, so Kimmy put these ear plugs in her ear and we called her baby Shrek for the rest of the night.  Best kissing cheeks around.  She is seriously the SWEETEST babes and I can't believe how huge she got while she was gone!
I love this scene.  Lighting fireworks with family all around.  They are the one reason I'm sad to leave for the Holy Land.  When I get back that baby Shrek is going to be bigger than me.

Speaking of the Holy Land, I bought Chacos today.  I think that makes it somewhat official; that I'm leaving, and also that I just became a nerd today.  There's no turning back.

Also, ask me if I went to the Katy Perry movie by myself.  The answer is yes.
Now ask me if I cried during it... The world may never know.

Bedtime

I'm literally just in my room thinking about how tired I am, and how I am dreading standing up to go get ready for bed...
That's all.

The Wonderful World of Disney

After finals, my family took a little weekend trip to Disneyland with my mom's 2 brothers and their families.  It was much needed, and SO fun.  Now I'm ready to jump right back into Spring semester... So the only disappointment from the trip was that my memory card from the first two days there got corrupted. SOOOO bummed.  I had planned on making a video for my family, and I had about 25 minutes of film on there, and some picture, and they are all missing.  So sad.  So what I have left is just the last day, not too much.  Also, if anybody knows how to revive a corrupted memory card, holler at me.

This was right after Grizzly Bear Rapids and we were all SOAKED.

No better reason to buy a new matching Mickey souveniers, eh?

THANK YOU mom and dad for such a fun trip.

Going hard on the Tea Cups... So sickening.

The last die hards left till 12:00 close every night.

In The Ancient Days, We Will Return With No Delay

After months of prayer and obsession, I am feeling really blessed.
I will spare you my mushy feelings about how lucky I feel about this experience, and just leave you with this:

I got into Jerusalem.

Rascals

Okay, my sister-in-law had her baby on the 22nd, and my other nephew turned two yesterday, and it just got me thinking how much I LOVE being an aunt.

New little Isabella is the sweetest little sloth in the world. I'm in love.

And her mommy is a great photographer.

Boys will be boys.  For Drew's birthday party, they rode around in Noah's Car and played remote control cars.

They are the best of friends.

They can't steer the car on their own, so while Noah pushed the gas pedal, Scott pulled them around on his bike.  Aren't they the sweetest?  I could just smother.

Happy second birthday to Drew-bee.  I can't believe he's only two, he's the smartest boy in the WORLD.  He is the happiest, nicest, friendliest, cutest little boy, and he always makes me smile even if I'm having a bad day. I love him.

So THANK YOU to my great brothers for making me an Auntie four times so far.  I love all four of these kiddos, and the fifth on the way ;) Some perks to being the youngest child.

Thoughts

This Valentines day, I was sick as a dog. Not really, but I had a horrendous cold.  Reid asked me to be his, I mean her Valentine this year, and I was happy to oblige.  Sometimes people tease us that we are connected at the hip, but whatever.  We are.

We had a nice Valentines day filled with heart shaped pizza from Brick Oven and the only thing that I MIGHT love more than Reid herself: Brick Oven Rootbeer.

Chuck Bass also made an appearance.  He's been doing that for the past month or so.  He knocks on our door, so we let him in and then he doesn't leave for way too many hours. Overstays his welcome.  All the same, I loved this Valentine that Shannon shared on Facebook.  So Chuck.

I've had it with the "Cougar Eat." I'm not kidding I can't eat there one more day.  Luckily Reid discovered that they have CORN DOGS at the bowling alley downstairs.  Usually I just walk home and eat, but neither of us could pass this up.  Reid loves the great vibes in there... So do I.

It's always a good day when there are wigs involved.

We went to Sonic way too late the other night, and Caitlyn had the classic fat kid moment.  She dropped her entire Ice Cream cone on the FLOOR.  Allison asked the guy if she could get a new one. He said no. And then he gave her a new one...

Also, Sonic has THEEEE best real fruit slushies. Get one.

I love my niece and nephews.  I went on a date last weekend with THIS guy:

and literally within the first 5 minutes he said to me "I promise my niece and nephews are cuter than yours, Andrea"  HELLO! Everybody thinks their own nieces and nephews are the cutest ones, so don't talk to me about who is cuter here, buddy.

Laughing is the absolute ultimate. Just like Gidget.  Sometimes it gets the best of Reid and me.  This morning after stats, we laughed for an entire 10 minutes straight about a Gorilla Suit...  Then I sent her this picture and we continued to laugh, even though we weren't together.

I have a friend, Kristine, who loves going to movies after school.  It's like a night time thing, or something you do when you have a lot of time on your hands, but you just go to a quick showing after school.  Well, that's how I feel about snowboarding.  Robert, Allison and I had a quick trip to Sundance after class today and it's was a treat.  Not to mention the treat that I bought in the lodge while we were there, WHEWIE!

Also, I have a bruise on my arm from Allison pinching me while we were getting off the lift for the 400th time.  Intentional.  She has a hard time with the second stop...

Reid is on a date right now.  He shows up at our door Sunday night, Reid is in a blanket. He asks if she's sick and she says no.  She's never talked to the guy.  He asks her if he can call her on Tuesday and ask her out for Wednesday.... She says sure.  He says he hopes he doesn't interrupt any Valentines dates. (Only her date with me and Chuck Bass, but go ahead).  He calls on Tuesday:
"He Allison, I was thinking we could just get some ice cream or something. Super quick.  We can just chat and get to know ya a little bit."
Is this a date, or a bishop's interview...?

Happy Wednesday! I'm off to barb. AKA, Zumba Tone.  AKA, me getting ripped.

Fat Kid Chocolate Cake

Last weekend, Allison and I competed in a vigorous competition for:

A LIFETIME SUPPLY OF FREE MAGLEBYS CHOCOLATE CAKE.

You read that correctly. A LIFETIME.
(My friends and I in High School used to call this cake "Fat Kid Chocolate Cake" and that is just what it is).

We got to watch part of the first half from underneath the tunnel.  It was a sold out game, so we had a full house.

We began the competition with a strategy in mind.  We were going to get as much of the cake in our hair as we could, simply to get rid of it faster.

Unfortunately, we only walked away with a $25 gift certificate each to Maglebys.  But we sure got messy.  Our opponent had a pretty crazy great strategy himself, and ate his cake like a literal watermelon...  But hey, cake and great memories nonetheless.

"It took us 3 days and a whole bottle of shampoo to get the stripper cake out of our hair."
Not really, but it did take a good 10 minutes in the bathroom at halftime, where there were 50 ladies asking us why the heck we were such a mess, and what they possibly could have missed.

Unfortunately, the rookie from Maglebys told me to turn my back to the student section, "so we could get all the angles...." So, pardon my view here.  But check out Allison's Bob Malooga technique here.

So fantastic.
