Monday's field trip we visited Yad Vashem. It is a Holocaust museum in West Jerusalem.
Our Israel teacher, Ophir Yarden then showed us around Mt. Hertzl.

Later that night we had a 95 year old Holocaust survivor come and speak with us. It was a day full of sad emotion, but this guy really helped us all get a positive grasp on the whole thing. He survived 9 concentration camps. When somebody asked him why he was so happy he answered this:
"Well, I got out of it and Hitler didn't!"
An amazing day start to finish.
